Help! >:3 I dont know what to write in an essay about a book called Private Peaceful. Anyone read it?

Heres what I got.:
"Private Peaceful" by Micheal Morpurgo is an interesting novel that is based on the First World War.
I found this novel an interesting, accurate and deeply moving account of a Peacefuls situation and childhood memories.

The author uses alot of symbolism in this novel. One such example is when he uses animals to symbolise people in Tommo's life. For example "Father was in that birds eyes" and "he told us that he wanted to be a bird so he could fly free.". He also compares Tommo's mothers aunt with the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood."She had big teeth with gaps inbetween, just like our grandma too.". The authors use of animals gives the reader a better in-sight of his characters and what they were like.

All the characters in the novel are effectively described by the authors well thought-out techniques. One of the first characters we are introduced to is Big Joe. Big Joe is one of Tommo's other two brothers and is shown to be happy and cheerful and with a passion for animals. The Peaceful familys life revolved around Big Joe. "How we thought about people depended largely on how they behaved with our big brother.".
